Every asset manager knows how it wants to automate outbound. The targeting is no longer the hard part.
It has never been easier to define criteria and execute against them with AI. Describe the prospect, set the trigger, and an agent can draft the outreach and queue the call. Most distribution teams have already done this. The lists those agents run on are where it breaks, because the data underneath them is out of date.
At one asset manager, the wholesaling team ran on two Salesforce instances, Power BI dashboards that contradicted the CRM, and data feeds from five outside sources, including custodian exports and third party enrichment tools. A sales leader who wanted every advisor holding a particular fund as it approached lockup expiry had nowhere to ask. The answer meant exporting from Salesforce, cross referencing Power BI (which showed different numbers), pulling custodian data by hand, scoring against enrichment, and pushing a spreadsheet back into the CRM. The list arrived after the window to call had already narrowed.
The problem is identity. The same advisor appears under one name in the CRM, another in the custodian feed, and a third in the enrichment data. The same firm shows up as three entities. Until those records resolve to one prospect, any automation is aiming at a blurred picture, and a faster agent only reaches the wrong person sooner.
LEA resolves advisors, firms, and holdings across those sources into one unified view of each prospect, and surfaces it inside Salesforce where the field already works. A plain language request such as “show me every advisor who holds this fund with less than 60 days until lockup expiry” returns a scored, current list in minutes. The identity work is done once and kept current, so the targeting logic the team has already built finally runs on something accurate.
The firm recovered roughly four hours per week for each person on the sales team. Across eight people, that is about one full time role moved from list building to calls and client conversations.
Targeting criteria are now easy to write. The advantage goes to the asset managers whose field teams can trust the data those criteria run on.
